West Tennessee counties among those with clean audits in 2020
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Twelve Tennessee counties received clean audit reports for last fiscal year.

Chester, Henderson, Henry, Obion and Tipton counties are among those 12 counties audited by the state who received clean reports for the fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2020.
Those counties are being recognized by the Tennessee County Services Association Legislative Conference in Gatlinburg.
“A clean audit is a good indication that government business is on track,” said Comptroller Jason E. Mumpower. “I commend all of the elected officials, leaders, and county staff who have committed to provide accountability and reliability in these 12 counties. This is quite an achievement. Congratulations.”
Obion County is one of three counties to receive two consecutive clean audits, according to a news release.
