Haywood Co. sheriff seeks shooting victim

HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. — A man was treated Saturday night for a gunshot wound he told Jackson police he had sustained during an altercation in Haywood County but has not reported the incident to authorities, according to Haywood County Sheriff Melvin Bond. Bond said he received a call from the Jackson Police Department and was informed Mario Lloyd was being treated at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital for a gunshot wound to the wrist. Bond says he requested his contact information be given to Lloyd so he could be contacted after his release. He says he has not yet heard from the shooting victim.
