Volunteers offer gift wrap service to benefit Jackson animal rescue

NORTH JACKSON — Jackson shoppers have the opportunity this weekend to get their gifts wrapped and help a local animal rescue at the same time. Volunteers with Saving the Animals Together, or STAT, wrapped gifts Friday at Tractor Supply Company on Carriage House Drive. The volunteers for the nonprofit will wrap gifts of any size for a donation and will be back at Tractor Supply Company again Saturday and also on Dec. 13 and Dec. 20. The group says the money mostly will stay in Madison County. “We just wrap to help contribute to pay our vet bill and to get things for our fosters, to make sure everything is taken care of,” said Morgan Isbell, fundraising contributor for STAT.
