DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson man faced a judge Monday for allegedly trading his mother’s vehicle to a drug dealer and stealing her credit cards, according to an affidavit. Frank Edward Imhuser is charged with identity theft and motor vehicle theft. Imhuser’s mother reported Thursday her vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet Tracker, was missing and her credit cards had been stolen and used at various locations in Madison County, according to court papers. The woman told police she suspected her son was responsible, according to an affidavit. Imhuser later told police he traded the vehicle to a drug supplier and had stolen and used the credit cards, the documents state. Imhuser was issued a $10,000 bond.
