Man charged on meth counts after traffic stop

UNION CITY, Tenn. — A Kentucky man is charged in Union City on meth counts. Officers tell us they arrested Robert Hopper Jr. during a traffic stop Tuesday morning when police found nearly 18 grams of meth. Hopper is charged with having drugs and paraphernalia. Police seized his car and $45,000 in cash. Hopper is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
