Union University holds pottery sale

JACKSON, Tenn.- A pottery sale at Union University brought students and alum out today. Students got the chance to get their hands on deal which included a 70 percent off the sale with the art department gets the other 30 percent. Students not only got a chance on deals they also showcased their work and sold it. Organizers said it is an opportunity for students to get community feedback on their work. “Pottery is meant to be sold in craft fairs and displays like this, it gives you a chance to see how your work sells see whats good whats bad like what glazes are really working and what people like.” said Megan Peden, president of the pottery sale. About 15 students had their work displayed.
