Bolivar man shot in face

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — A 25-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot in his friends home Wednesday morning. Johnathan Arnold said he and his friend Clarence Minter were making music on his computer when suddenly shots came through his bedroom window. “I heard a pow, pow, pow and I could feel the bullet fly right by my face,” Arnold said. Police say Minter was hit in the face by the first bullet, and went through his cheek then into his throat ending up in his lung. “I saw him get hit in the face, and I just reacted quickly and tried to help him out,” Arnold said. Police said the second bullet missed both Arnold and Minter and went through Arnold’s bedroom wall. The stray bullet eventually was found in Arnold’s sister’s room. Police do not have not ruled out a targeted attack, and they said they have no suspects of interest.
