Sheriff: $15K worth of meth found in Henry Co. traffic stop

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman is facing several drug charges including having about $15,000 worth of “ice” methamphetamine after a traffic stop in Henry County. Donna Lockhart was pulled over just after 11 p.m. Sunday for a traffic violation and a felony warrant, according to a release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Officers arrested Lockhart on the active warrant and allegedly found her in possession of about four ounces of “ice” methamphetamine packaged for resale, according to the release. The estimated street value of the “ice” is about $15,000, according to the release. Deputies believe the meth was obtained out of state and brought to the area for distribution to local sources in Henry County and Benton County, the release states. Deputies also found pills, two small bags of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana, according to the release. Lockhart’s bond was set at $100,000. She faces numerous drug possession charges with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, according to the release. The incident is still under investigation and additional charges are pending, the release states.
