100 Black Men Scholarship Benefit Gala
100 Black Men of West Tennessee will hold their 22nd annual Scholarship Benefit Gala Saturday, Dec. 27.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. at Carl Perkins Civic Center, located at 400 South Highland Avenue in Jackson.
Proceeds from the gala support 21st Century Scholars, F.A.M.I.L.Y. Mentoring and Book Buddies.
This year’s theme will be Holiday Splendor 2014, and the community is asked to support the event that has raised more than $140,000 in scholarships for deserving young men from across the region.
Jackson’s own Smooth Jazz Progressions and Will Graves and Soul will perform.
