AAA offers ride home, vehicle tow for would-be drunken drivers

JACKSON, Tenn. — If you find yourself unable to drive after New Year’s festivities, AAA wants you to get home safely. On the night of New Year’s Eve, you can call 855-Tow-To-Go, or 855-286-9246, and a AAA driver will tow your vehicle and give you a ride to a safe location within 10 miles of your pick-up spot. The service is offered free of charge regardless of whether you are a member of AAA. AAA officials say the service is designed as a last resort and availability is determined based on the amount of calls they receive. For more information, visit the Seen on 7 section of our site.
