Lifeline Blood Services: Where to donate
NORTH JACKSON, Tenn — LIFELINE Blood Services has issued a Critical Appeal for Blood. “While all blood types are needed, the most dangerous issue is that the supplies of O negative and B negative types are extremely low”, said Joe Schifano, CEO of LIFELINE Blood Services, “Currently there is less than a one day supply of these blood types for patients in local hospitals.” If you would like to donate, here are locations where you can give this week. Lifeline will host extended hours Monday January 5 through Friday January 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will also be community blood drives in the following locations: Mon., Jan. 5 Elma Ross Public Library, Brownsville, 12-4:30 p.m. Berea Mennonite Church, Rutherford, 1-6 p.m. First Baptist Church, Atwood, 3-7 p.m. Tues., Jan. 6 Baptist Memorial Hospital, Union City, 12-4 p.m. Lexington Manor, Inc. , 12-4 p.m. Wed., Jan. 7 Hardin Co. Med. Ctr.
