Jackson officer involved in shooting returns to work

JACKSON, Tenn. — The officer involved in the November shooting that left one man dead has returned to work. Raymond Bond was placed on routine administrative leave immediately following the shooting. Bond returned to active duty Dec. 29, according to the department. He in not working in an enforcement role but instead is doing administrative work. Bond will remain in this role until the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation concludes its investigation into the shooting, according to the department. Bond was the officer involved in the Nov. 6 use of deadly force that resulted in the death of Cinque D’Jahspora, 20, who allegedly stabbed the officer prior to being shot.
