DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Two men supposedly found with marijuana in their trucks appeared Thursday in Jackson City Court. Police confronted Luke Sutton while he was parked at Wash Town on Oil Well Road. After noticing an odor and being given consent to search, officers say they found 10 grams of marijuana in his console and another 20 grams under the driver’s seat along with what appeared to be LSD, according to an affidavit. Once officers found the drugs, they gained permission to search a nearby truck owned by Michael Moore. Police then allegedly found more than 500 grams of marijuana in the vehicle. Both men are charged with sale and delivery of marijuana, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the affidavit. Moore also is facing an additional count of intent to sell. Moore and Sutton both are free on $15,000 bonds.
