DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man accused of trespassing and being inside a florist van faced charges Tuesday in Jackson City Court. Lee Simmons is charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing after police say he was seen in a Dodge van owned by Sand’s Old Hickory Florist located on Old Hickory Cove, according to an affidavit. Police say Simmons admitted to being drunk and that the florist management had told him not to be on the property, the document states. Simmons is being held on a $10,000 bond.
