DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man appeared Wednesday in Jackson court on charges stemming from a traffic stop including marijuana possession and tampering with evidence. Barry Anderson was stopped by police Tuesday night on Johnson Street, according to an affidavit. Officers say Anderson had little pieces of marijuana on his jacket and was chewing what officers later said was a bag of marijuana. Police say he then spat the bag out onto the road. In all, more than four grams of marijuana was said to have been found in Anderson’s car. Anderson is free on a $7,500 bond.
