Gibson County drug raid nets two arrests

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A drug raid Tuesday by agents with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force results in charges against two men. Investigators executed a search warrant Tuesday at an address in the 600 block of Old Gibson Road in Trenton, according to a release from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office. During the search, officers recovered just more than five and a half ounces of marijuana, a loaded .38 special revolver, digital scales and $2,322 in cash, according to the release. Lamont Bogard, 21, of Trenton was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release. Lamar Bogard, 20, of Jackson also was arrested and charged with possession of schedule VI and tampering with evidence. Both men are being held without bond at the Gibson County Correctional Complex and are scheduled to appear in court Jan. 29 in Trenton.
