MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies confirm they are searching for a suspect in a Tuesday night wreck and string of fires. Investigators say they are looking for Megan Thomas but have not released a picture. They believe she is in Gibson County. Deputies say she was behind the wheel during a wreck on Bakers Chapel Road and then sparked more than 10 grass fires as she sped away. “That’s what happened to the tire during the wreck itself. The tire was damaged, and that caused everything to run on the rim,” said Tom Mapes with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Thomas ran into the woods when she crashed in Gibson County, according to deputies.
