Alamo leaf fire damages trailer

ALAMO, Tenn. — An out of control leaf fire in Alamo scorched land and buildings Thursday. According to the Alamo fire chief, the afternoon fire sparked as a man was burning leaves in his yard. The chief says the man went inside to make a sandwich, and when he came back out the fire had spread across his yard and under the trailer. The man was injured after going back inside the house trying to fight the fire where the chief says he suffered first-degree burns.
