Henry County deputies get new vehicles

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Henry County residents may have noticed the new look of the sheriff’s office’s vehicles. The force has added fifteen new vehicles and also has adopted a new back and gold color scheme. The sheriff’s office wanted a more modern appearance for the new vehicles, according to a release from Sheriff Monte Belew. The vehicles were designed and purchased locally and will save a total of $150,000 over a three-year period by cutting maintenance and equipment costs, according to the release. The new fleet includes three Ford F-150 pickup trucks for K-9 handlers.
