Apartment fire displaces residents on a cold night

JACKSON, Tenn. — A building at Park Ridge Apartments in Jackson burned Sunday night. Fire officials say just before 8 p.m., the call went out that a building was on fire Residents said there were 8 individual units in the building. Fire officials said on scene everyone was believed to make it out of the building safely, but the cause is unknown. Fire officials said it may take some time to find out what started the fire. The American Red Cross was on scene to assist residents with a place to stay.
