Flights resume at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport

JACKSON, Tenn. — McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport has resumed flights as of Tuesday afternoon. All flights out of the airport had been canceled Monday due to icy conditions. At least two inches of an ice-sleet mix had coated the runway after Monday’s wintry mix, making the runway too dangerous for planes to take off and land, according to Executive Director Steve Smith.
