TVA lifts request for customers to save power

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Valley Authority asked customers Thursday to reduce the amount of power used because of our abnormally cold temperatures. The company sent out a release Friday lifting the request, effective immediately. The company says more the 8.5 million electric consumers helped with the reduction of power.
