East Tennessee man faces more charges in Campbell County
JACKSBORO, Tenn. (AP) – An East Tennessee man who is already facing murder and kidnapping charges has been indicted on kidnapping and robbery charges in a separate case.
The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1DfWLaI ) reports 44-year-old Lonnie Vann pleaded not guilty to four counts of aggravated kidnapping and two counts of aggravated robbery Monday in Campbell County Criminal Court.
The charges stem from an armed robbery Dec. 5 at a residence.
Vann is a former LaFollette Middle School teacher. He was indicted in January on charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and aggravated robbery in the death of 49-year-old Rhonda Daugherty of Campbell County. She disappeared from her home Dec. 2 and remains missing.
Vann pleaded not guilty to those charges earlier.
