DA: No charges in deadly Jackson officer-involved shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — A grand jury has declined to authorize charges against a Jackson policeman involved in a deadly officer-involved shooting, according to a release from District Attorney General Jerry Woodall. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation recently completed its investigation into the November 2014 shooting death of Cinque D’Jahspora, 20, by Officer Raymond Bond of the Jackson Police Department. The evidence from the TBI investigation was presented to the Madison County grand jury Monday, and the jury declined to authorize charges. D’Jahsporah was killed after police say he attacked and stabbed Bond.
