Two facing drug charges after search of Gibson Co. home

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man and woman are facing multiple drug counts after officers conduct a search at a Gibson County home. Agents with the West Tennessee Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force conducted the search Wednesday at a home in the 100 block of High Street in Dyer. During the search, officers found evidence of multiple previous methamphetamine cooks along with ingredients and drug paraphernalia, according to a release from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office. Jason Moore, 37, and Tonya Hatchel, 35, both were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacture of methamphetamine, initiation of a process intended to result in the manufacture of methamphetamine, promotion of methamphetamine manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia, the release states. Both are being held in the Gibson County Correctional Complex in lieu of a $25,000 bond each, according to the release. The drug task force was assisted by the Gibson County Sheriff‘s Office in the investigation.
