Man in Jackson court accused of throwing steaks at girlfriend

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson man was in court Friday on accusations of assaulting his girlfriend and throwing steaks at her. Jonathan Coredell Neal is facing a simple assault charge after his girlfriend told police he threw frozen steaks at her and shoved her into a wall, according to an affidavit. Police responded Thursday to a Charlotte Drive home where Neal was taken into custody. He is free on a $2,500 bond.
