JACKSON, Tenn. — We are less than a month away from Easter, and one local church has made plans for Easter Sunday. Instead of Englewood Baptist Church hosting services, they are changing the scenery. On Easter, the congregation will meet at the Ballpark at Jackson. The pastor at the church told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News he hopes the community will come out and participate in the Easter celebration. “I look forward to our church family getting to celebrate the facts that Jesus did not just die, he rose again, and I look forward to including a lot of new faces as part of the Easter celebration,” Senior Pastor Jordan Easley said. As a part of Easter weekend celebrations, the church also will host a free concert and fireworks display on April 5, also at the Ballpark at Jackson.
