Police make 3 arrests in Henderson movie store burglaries

HENDERSON, Tenn. — Police in Henderson say WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News viewers are the reason three suspected burglars are behind bars Thursday night. Dillon Cross, Matthew Meaier and Thomas Dacus-Hervert each are charged with theft and burglary. They’re accused of stealing Xbox 360 video games from Movie World. Meaier and Dacus-Hervert are accused of breaking in twice. Officers say about $2,000 in video games were stolen. They say these quick arrests are proof the public can make a difference. “Without WBBJ airing the photograph, we may have never got the call that we needed that helped solve this case,” said Investigator Gary Davidson with the Henderson Police Department. The first break-in was on March 5, and the second happened two days later on the 9th. According to police records, all three men lived at the same address in Henderson.
