EAST JACKSON — Over in east Jackson, Friday morning started without power for some residents. About 50 JEA customers lost power when a tree toppled onto a string of power lines. Firefighters who responded to the call say the soggy ground caused by days of relentless rain may be to blame for the ensuing damage.
