JACKSON, Tenn. – Union University’s women’s basketball team eliminated Albany State (Ga.) 92-83 in the first round of the Division II National tournament. Senior Amy Philamlee led all scorers with 34 points. The spark of the night came from teammate Kelsey Risner. A majority of the junior’s 27 points came from her 7-for-11 three-point shooting. Union plays West Florida on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
