Haywood wins Class AA State Championship
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Haywood’s boys basketball team defeated Fulton 47-33 in the Class AA State Championship. MVP Jordan Varnado finished with 19 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks. This is the first-ever basketball state championship for the Tomcats. Haywood also finished the season undefeated against Tennessee teams.
