JACKSON, Tenn. — An undercover prostitution sting nets multiple arrests at two Jackson hotels. Police make five prostitution arrests in two days. Three of the arrests, according to court documents, at hotels along the Highway 45 Bypass. “It’s a little bit surprising that all that’s going on around here,” said Elizabeth Slott, who works at a nearby appliance store. “Mostly on the weekends we have like all the clubs and everything back there, so you know sometimes it does get wild.” Sandra Bolan, Ashley Kimes, Brittany Young and Taylor Barlow appeared Monday in Jackson City Court. Each face one count of prostitution. Matt Hagan pleaded guilty Monday to patronizing prostitution. Officers said Friday they saw him give a woman money in exchange for sexual services at a Jackson hotel. According to arrest warrants, investigators said they met Kimes, Young and Barlow on a website called Backpage. Investigators said they were then directed to meet the women at hotels along the Highway 45 Bypass, where police said the three women offered sex for money. “That’s awful,” Morgan Holmes, of Jackson, said. “There’s kids around and, I mean, spread diseases. I mean, it’s awful.” The judge set $5,000 bonds for Kimes, Bolan, Young and Barlow. “I’m glad they busted them,” Slott said. “I’m glad, you know, maybe it’ll be off the streets.” The judge sentenced Hagan to three days of community service. The women are scheduled to return to court Thursday, Mar. 26.
