Threatening texts caused Alexander Elementary lockdown

MIDTOWN JACKSON — It was a man sending threatening texts to an Alexander Elementary School employee that led to the school being put on lockdown last Friday. Robert Hayes is being charged with harassment in the incident. According to an affidavit filed in Jackson City Court, Hayes sent several text messages to his daughter threatening her and the school where she worked. Hayes’ bond is set at $50,000.
