Music festival coming to Jackson in July

JACKSON, Tenn — Forget Memphis in May — How about Jackson in July? International Riders, Rockabilly Music and Cultural festivals are teaming up to for what they call a one-of-kind celebration. This monthlong celebration will consist of music, food, history, attractions and communities that make West Tennessee unique. We spoke with the executive director who says it’s all about shedding light on West Tennessee. “We are showcasing all that West Tennessee, all the communities in West Tennessee,” Riders and Rockabilly executive director Jenci Spradlin said. “And by coming together, we can kind of promote the whole area as a whole.” The event will take place at the Jackson Fairground Park.
