DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman went before a judge Thursday on accusations of stealing appliances and bedding from a Jackson hotel. April Watson faces a theft charge after allegedly taking the property during a Nov. 16 stay at Days Inn at 1919 Highway 45 Bypass. The hotel manager told police a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, pillows and bedding were missing from the room and that Watson was the only person present when she checked into the room the day before. The manager said the missing property was valued at about $400. Watson is being held in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
