Rose Hill principal suspended amid punishment investigation

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A middle school principal is suspended as the Jackson-Madison County School System investigates reports from parents about corporal punishment without parental consent. Ned Lewis, principal of Rose Hill Middle School, has been suspended pending the investigation, according to a release from the school system. All suspensions in the school system are without pay in accordance with school board policy. Lewis has been with the school system since 2010 and principal at Rose Hill since 2012, according to the release.
