CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission will begin their assessment of Carroll Lake when they meet next month. The TWRA has been exploring options concerning the lake’s future since the fall. A flood last June destroyed the lake’s levee gates, causing it to completely drain. Options on the table include completely re-filling the lake or turning half of it into a wildlife sanctuary.
