LEXINGTON, Tenn. — A call of trespassing in Lexington leads to four counts of aggravated assault. Warren Crook is an employee with the Regional Southwest Madison County office, according to the Department of Child Services in Nashville. Capt. Jeff Middleton with Lexington police confirmed Wednesday that Crook was arrested and has been charged after he is accused of firing a shot near a group of people. “Our investigation resulted in Mr. Crook’s arrest,” Middleton said. “We discovered that he had confronted these young ladies while in possession of a firearm, and we have reason to believe that during the course of that interaction he did fire a shot.” No one was injured. Crook is currently free on bond.
