LEXINGTON, Tenn. — A man is facing a criminal impersonation charge after police say he pretended to be a deputy during a dispute with another motorist. Lexington police say Tony Ray Justus, 72, became involved in the dispute around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of West Church Street. Justus is accused of getting out of his vehicle, approaching the victims and identifying himself as a deputy sheriff. The victims told police Justus told them “he had something for them” and then walked to his vehicle and appeared to reach under the front seat. The victims then drove away. He is free on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear April 14 in Henderson County General Sessions Court.
