JACKSON, Tenn. — Dozens of first responders were honored Sunday at a special service in east Jackson. For the third year, New Life Church recognized the men and women who vow to protect and serve the Hub City. Pastor Barroy Chaney said he hopes others in the city also will take the time to say “thank you.” Individual recognition awards were given to six men and women who were nominated by their departments.
