Police investigate theft of $60K in equipment from Jackson business

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating the thefts of more than $60,000 worth of equipment from a Jackson swimming pool business. A truck, excavator and trailer were reported stolen April 7 from a fenced-in area at Blue Hawaiian Pools, located at 135 North Star Drive, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department. Investigators found that at least two people had entered the fenced-in area after midnight by cutting locks off the gate, according to the release. Police say the suspects stole a white 2008 Ford F-450 truck with a black flatbed, a yellow Case CS36 excavator and a 16-foot Big Tex trailer.
