Breakfast for Babies raises thousands for March of Dimes

JACKSON, Tenn. — Dozens of West Tennesseans come together Friday to raise money for the March of Dimes during the Breakfast for Babies fundraiser in downtown Jackson. According to organizers, $3,360 was raised during the three-hour event at the Baker’s Rack restaurant. The March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization committed to funding lifesaving research and programs to end premature births, birth defects and infant mortality. Hundreds are expected to also take part in the “Run Baby Run” event next week. The walk and run will be held April 25 on the campus of Union University.
