JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police responding to a robbery call Sunday at Lane College arrested a student on drug charges. Officers say when they entered Harper Hall on Budde Street, they watched as Tevin Roberts passed by carrying something under his jacket. An affidavit states police followed him to the train tracks where Roberts allegedly was carrying a mason jar with nearly 100 grams of marijuana inside. Back at his room, police say they found drug paraphernalia including scales, plastic bags and a safe with $3,000 cash inside. He is free on a $15,000 bond.
