Overnight crash claims one life
DARDEN, Tenn. — A crash late Wednesday night claims a man’s life. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says Charles Woods was traveling north on Darden Christian Chapel Road, nearly a mile north of Darden around 11:55 p.m. last night. According to a release, Woods failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, and hit another vehicle, which was unoccupied. The release also says he continued east, striking a tree and coming to rest in the woods. Woods was killed in the crash. Stay with WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News as more on this story becomes available.
