Man accused of stealing more than $1K from Jackson employer

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was in city court Tuesday on charges of stealing cash and gift cards from his employer. LaDarius Finley allegedly stole more than $1,900 in cash and gift cards from Walmart in north Jackson over a 3-month period, according to an affidavit. The store’s loss prevention manager told police there is footage of the alleged thefts. Finley is charged with theft of property over $1,000. His bond is set at $5,000.
