Sinkhole on Royal Street still not repaired

JACKSON, Tenn. — WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News first told you about a sink hole along North Royal Street back on April 17. Now 11 days later, it has yet to be fixed.
Originally, city leaders said repairs would be made on April 22. Tuesday, WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News spoke with Jackson Street Department officials who said there is a lot of coordinating that goes into repairing a failing pipe, and that means a waiting period. Street department officials said work should begin at 7 a.m. Thursday.
