Man in court accused of brandishing knife
DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man appeared Monday in Jackson City Court after being accused of assaulting a person with a knife and using racial slurs. Alan McKenzie is charged with aggravated assault and public intoxication. The victim told officers they were hanging out when McKenzie pulled out a knife started yelling and swinging the knife. According to court documents, McKenzie yelled “I don’t have a knife, and I didn’t assault nobody.” He remains in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
