Shooting Investigated Along Westwood

JACKSON Tenn.- Jackson Police are investigating a woman’s claim that she was shot Thursday afternoon by a man who took off running. The woman said it happened just before 2:45 in the 800 block of Westwood Avenue. The woman claims the gunman, in his late teens, fired several shots at her and then ran.
