HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. — Trinity United Methodist Church celebrated a monumental moment Sunday morning. It was the first church service held in the church’s new sanctuary since an arson destroyed the entire building in January. The special service initially was scheduled to be outside, but early morning rain caused the relocation. Pastor John Bonson said he would like the person responsible for the arson to come forward and be forgiven.
