HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. — James W. “Jimmy” Studdard, longtime ambulance director for Haywood County, was laid to rest Friday. He passed away Wednesday at age 72. Studdard was the longest-serving ambulance director in Tennessee, serving as director of the Haywood County Ambulance Authority for 42 years.
